Dessert

The desserts just get sweeter and sweeter in Ramadan. Two favourites combined - konaifa and mango. It was incredibly busy when I wandered in to buy some chocolate today. Seeet shops are the only ones that are busy in the afternoons as energy levels fade....

The manager struck up a conversation... he'd lived in the states etc... try this... he was flirting as Egyptian men do... if only I weren't leaving... I like the idea of a regular supply of treats from Simonds. But as any economist would tell you - there's no such thing as a free lunch. Maybe leaving isn't so bad after all...
