Silhouettes

Slept like logs, then up for very good breakfast as a field of curious cows looked on. (Bizarrely the mother and daughter who shared our table at dinner last night were also staying here!)
Headed off to Margate to see some art....nice to catch some more Phyllida Barlow after Venice. Wandered around the town and along the 'harbour arm' to have coffee near the shell statue of Turner's landlady.
Back via Herne Bay (not nice!) to Whitstable to finished looking round the town. Lots of quaint shops and ghost signs (extra)....K tempted by a Quba coat again but we ended up buying nothing except some octopus fingers for L!
Thought we'd explore Seasalter...nothing there!....so back to Whitstable for fish and chips on the beach looking at the sort of skies Turner would have been inspired by.
We've been very lucky with weather... more cloud today but warm and the sun broke through for the majority of the day.
