This afternoon one of my guinea fowl was killed by a karearea (N.Z. native falcon) and I buried its remains in the garden.  Great niece Jasmine (9) spent some time decorating the grave with a collection of violas, daisies and the last rosebuds.  She's a sensitive child and it was her idea to give the guinea fowl a floral send off.
