The allotment - Day 1

Having recently obtained an allotment in the Norfolk village where we now live we have the formidable task of restoring it back to a weed free area. Henry and I made a good start today by strimming the whole plot ready for cultivation by the local farmer and chairman of the allotment committee. Tomorrow we rake and create a grass mountain.....the start of a compost heap.
