On way to Anchorage

Catching up with our trip to Alaska, back-blip 5 of 7. Feel free to check out the others.


Up early today to drive the RV back to Anchorage. We noticed the Whittier to Anchorage train was running along side us. We pulled over to grab a shot but notice a juvenile bald eagle on the mudflats next to where we had parked. Picked the train first then caught the eagle (see extra).


Later in the day we rented a car and went up to the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Museum at Wasilla. Did a bit of dry sledding being pulled by a team of Alaskan Huskies.
