Those Smiths get everywhere....

I pass this place quite regularly, but have never seen the afternoon light look so beautiful. Its the main temple of the church of the latter day saints, apparently its their biggest temple outside of Utah... seems a bit bizarre that its in Chorley but why not i suppose?

Anyway, i like the idea of a religion being founded by a Smith, not too sure about finding golden leaves of testaments buried conveniently near his house and all that stuff but i am afraid i have no religion (regrettably) so am not really in any position to pass comment.

Anyway, they do bloody impressive buildings and boy can they prune a tree!
