Siberian Silver Edge Irises

I made a great mistake today ...... I had the correct spare battery in my bag but the wrong camera and there was only enough charge in the camera for three photos ..... SO ..... for the first time EVER I used my phone. With practise I suppose it would become easier but a camera hanging round my neck has been my chosen method for many, many years.

This clump of irises was growing in the walled garden of Dumfries House. After searching in Google I think these irises are Siberian Silver Edge. I rather like them and wouldn't mind some in my garden.

There were lots of blue poppies but I hope to see many more Meconopsis on Friday when we go to Branklyn Gardens.
