What to Blip???

A fabulous day today, with so many things I could have posted as a blip. G, M and I went to a 1940's day at the Wells to Walsingham light railway. So we have photos of ladies dressed in their finest forties outfits having a picnic, and photos of the 'home guard.' We also went on the light railway to Walsingham and had a fairly short walk around this pilgrimage town - a return is planned. See extras for the train arriving at the station complete with a home guard 'riding shotgun' and a photo of one of the two engines passing the other as they changed ends. But we had to get the train back so we could see a flypast by a Spitfire - see extras. Then on the way home we saw there was an event on at Langham Dome which was a training base in the war and is now a museum - a return visit here is also planned! There we were treated to a spectacular aerobatic display by a Tiger Moth. The main picture shows the pilot on his last pass waving goodbye and I've posted another shot in the Extras (and no I haven't played with the colours!). And there was lots more I haven't mentioned. What a lovely day full on unexpected and very welcome surprises!!!
