ANOTHER SILLY COLLECTION

This is a series of bookmarks that I like. I counted today all the ones I have. 300! And most of them are not at all spectacular.
Whatever I found in the second hand books that we bought in the big cities of Europe, I collected in a drawer. Heaps and heaps of items, letters, bookmarks, annotations of learned persons, presss cuttings, calling cards, postcards, etc.
What did I have in mind in collecting everything that I found, not just what I thought was pretty or interesting. At some time I made collages, big ones, and I threw away what I did no longer found useful to keep.
