Real Recognition

It was the end of season awards at the hockey club last night despite the fact that training does not  really stop year round all bar a few weeks in July.

Fraser works very hard every training session, he rarely gives anything other than 100% and leaves everything on the rink and much to everyone's surprise he was the recipient of the "Most Improved Player" an awarded selected by the coaches. 

I am so pleased for him and so proud of him not just for this recognition but for everything he has achieved through hockey, his bowling and academically this year.  I was very sad not to have been there last evening to see him presented with the award and these are the moments you cannot get back sadly but suffice to say I was overjoyed when I got the call to share his success.
