Room with a view

#3 daughter is in Thailand making a slow progress home for Christmas. This is the view from her room.

Arthur's Seat is a familiar part of the Edinburgh skyscape - but what I like about this view is what you can't quite see in the little notch to the right. Traprain Law is 724 feet high, and 24 miles away. It was probably the capital of the Votadini tribe, encountered by the Romans in the first century AD. But they were burying people there 1500 years before that!
