Silly duck brush and exhausted people

My life is not all gazing at flowers ;-) It's also running a household, although in my case there is not so much running, it's more limping. My knees and feet keep giving me bother, to much annoyance, so everything goes rather slow.

This cheerful duck brush normally sits in the pretty Peranakan mug on the windowsill in the kitchen right in front of the wash basin. With all the daylight from the garden behind it, there was no way to capture it well over there, so I took it to  the utility room with its rather dated green tiles.
The two exhausted figures hanging over the edge of the mug are kitchen aids, they function as lid-holders for pots and pans without a steam vent.
Which means the poor guys will have rather warm bottoms when in use !
