Poppies

We live just off a stretch of the A6 and it is our main road to local towns. Not far from us there is a row of houses set back from the road. Between the road and the boundary of the houses is a pavement and grass verge. Most of the occupants cultivate this in some way. One of them uses the area as a flower bed and it features as my blip for today. It has been a picture over the last week or so and I noticed that it is beginning to go over and I wanted to record it before it’s gone. So as there was very little traffic around today I stopped and took a few shots.
