Bottlenose Whales

First serious whale spotting of the trip.  

Smooth seas made whale spotting relatively easy, although being able to spot a blow a couple of kilometres away doesn’t always guarantee you’ll be able to either photograph or identify the whale!   

A pair of Northern Bottlenose Whales decided to help by popping up right on the bow of the Ortelius, and if you were in the right place…
