Coffee grounds and composting

Great use for ground coffee. We always love it when the coffee counter in the ferry terminal has "free coffee grounds" for those of us with big gardens and lots of composting needs. It is a bit weird to take what is technically waste back to the Island especially when everything has to be carried to the boat, transported across the bay and then carried up the hill to the garden. Who knew how precious more coffee grounds would be. Dashing through our chores as our holiday draws nearer.
