Oh very cold last night, our thermometer, under the Patio roof, recorded minus 12°C, and it hasn't gone above minus5 all day. Expecting even colder tonight, as low as minus 16 they say, and I believe them ! Lovely weather though, blue skies and sunny. Taking Spike for his midday galumph and by the slipway for the sailing boats, the ice was a solid band along the beach, quite thick too. If the wind drops it will freeze as it has in more sheltered places. The other lake is frozen all over, maybe our lake as well.
