A case of memories

Today we took possession of a number of family heirlooms from MrsS's side of the family. This is a gentleman's travel case that belonged to her grandfather who she never met. He was born in 1867 and you can tell it is from a totally different era.

Also from another era were letters, scores of them. Will looking through old phone emails and text messages have the same feeling for future generations I wonder.
