Water Water

Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink.    Having been without running water for over a week, I’m happy to fill a glass from the tap!  The new well pump went in thursday and last night (friday) we started it all up only to find that the pressure was too low because there is also a leak in the pipe between the shed with the filters and the house.  Very discouraging.   Until first thing this morning with a fresh brain we figured out we could turn off the water to the cabin and just run it with the proper pressure to the studio and guest cottage!    Still have to get the water guy back to fix, but now at least there is a hot shower nearby!


My entry for the WBC “ground”.  As a painter, I think in terms of “figure-ground” as in “under layer”, or “background.”  so added just a bit of texture to the “ground”(the sea) that probably would have been painted as the "ground".
