LOOK ! BLUE SKY:

It is six days since we have seen this phenomenon, praise be. Almost forgotten what a blue sky looked like. This is taken at my kitchen door, overlooking the garden, with a clematis draped over the woodwork. Note how the silver birches are still holding their leaves, & the winter flowering heathers show an itty bitty of colour ?
