La was his first word, meaning yellow, milk, his own dear self. For a brief moment it was back to the days of the 2 yo L, happy to let me take as many photos of him as I wished.

He and Irk off on their big adventure to Melbourne to see his team in the finals - before they are presumably eliminated (he has every confidence they won't be)

He was conserving all the battery life of his iPod for the journey, and took over my iPhone for a brief series of still lifes, all involving food, and all involving his favourite Hipstomatic gels.
