Feeding Time
at the zoo, hmmm make that Sydney Harbour Bridge.
What was meant to be a quick and dirty photo before going home ended up becoming a mission to get the perfect shot. Trying to get the right settings on this was surprisingly difficult. After several attempts and re-composing with my feet and almost an hour of trying I walked away hoping I got the shot. Oooh how rude, I haven't actually described what's going on here. In simple terms its the bridge with hundreds of seagulls flying around. The story is that the light facing upwards light up the birds who are eating the insects that are attracted to the bright lights. Add a camera on a tripod with a long exposure and this is the result.
