Conkers

It seems only a few days since the horse chestnut trees were in flower.

Now the conkers are forming.

I associate conkers with my birthday in early October which seems ages away and yet here is visible proof that it will be with us in no time.

Walked down to the Bull in Sonning with Kar and Tom and enjoyed a drink in the sunshine. Unfortunately we got caught in the heavy rain just five minutes from home on the way back and got soaked to the skin in minutes. Still, it was a good afternoon.
