Bathgate Gala Day 2017

Hip Hip Hooray........

The parade was colourful, noisy and seemed to go on for ever.

The entertainment at the park was great and had everyone engrossed with stunt riders (1st extra), falconry and the massed bands.

The day ends with a torch procession (2nd extra) that passes right by Chez Broon and always sparks memories of us thinking the locals were coming to burn us out of our new home, one week after we'd moved in 17 years ago!

Highlight of the day was a high five from Captain America and a cuddle from Spider-Man :-)))
