Mermaid on the Lake

Took a trip to the Farmer's Market in downtown Lakeland this morning to pick up some fresh veges and fish (Grouper cheeks) we had ordered.  I know that sounds strange but the Grouper cheeks are absolutely delicious.  Small pieces of delicate white fish meat fried up with potatoes - yum!  It was so crowded as there was another event taking place too.  But there was music and friendly folks about - very enjoyable.  As I was leaving I walked over to the lake and saw the mermaid relaxing on the lily pads.
