Is Time Running Out?

Where I live we get a morning paper. I usually read it sometime before noon. This has been a tough week for me. Last night I sat down to catch up on the last 3 days papers. I open the oldest paper. Got to the obituary section. There I saw that a friend of mine's husband has passed away suddenly Sunday. The funeral was yesterday morning. I am reading this late in the afternoon. I missed being there for her. This wasn't expected. Life is short. My rambling thoughts today.
