The swamp in the woods

I've Friday off, so I took my new camera out for an inaugural run down through Chasefield woods. Well partly through because the rain came on and my camera was getting wet.

This area of standing water has a growth of a small leafed bacteria like plant spread across the top of the water, over all of the debris on the surface and also climbing up the trees. In sunlight it could look quite something.
