Saturday in bed .... and a night out

When I woke up at 9 am Neil was already up.
I had coffee and looked at my photos from last night's gig and Neil was in his room doing things. He had a dentist appointment at 11 am.
After I had done the photos and caught up with a few things I decided to just go back to bed. With a book and breakfast.
I thought that was the right thing to do today.
We had tickets for TG in Edinburgh in the evening and a relaxed day was the right preparation.
I did not read much and dosed away relatively quickly again. And did not feel guilty :)
I got up at 5 pm-ish and at 7 pm (far too late) we started to slowly get ready.
This is an event where dressing up is the main point for most and for me an occasion to wear my AMF wearable art! There is really not much other occasions for that :).
I also wanted some photos of me wearing it to send to Louis. He will rework some shoes for me and wanted a picture for inspiration.
Good is to have a studio for that.
Bad is that my modelling times are pretty much over ... hahaha :) (Not that they actually ever existed ... but certainly won't start now :) )
Good again is that I have some photoshop skills ... ;)

We finally left the house at 9 pm and were at the venue after 10 pm.
We met Kevin, Fiona, Iain and Jane there and a few other folks we know. 
However, the night was a bit odd, it was quite empty and a funny atmosphere. We have not been there for a couple of years and I am not sure if we will rush to get back for the next one.
However, it was nice to see our friends and to show off the awesome outfit.
We were home after 3 am.

The blip is one of the test shots for the lighting. Poor Neil had to endure that again. I have not taken any other photos .... so it had to be one of those ....
