Wroxham
We went to Aylsham to catch the Bore Valley Railway steam train to Wroxham. This runs on a narrow gauge line and pulls carriages from the 1920/30s. It was a very pleasant forty five minute journey. In Wroxham, which is based at the start of the Norfolk Broads, we had lunch at the Old Mill House by the water and then bought tickets for the two hour pleasure cruise into the Broads on a vintage paddle steamer, well it looked like one though not sure it was.
The picture is the engineer giving the engine a rub down with an oily rag prior to us departing.
