Focus Challenge

It's one of those days when I really struggled with focus.  I went out in the yard with my macro lens and extension tube.  There were several damselflies around, so I thought I would get an easy blip.  No such luck.  I eventually took the extension tube off, because I was having so much trouble getting the entire insect in focus.  I don't know if I ever succeeded totally, but this was the best I could do.  I figure I need to use a larger DOF next time. If anyone has any other pointers, I would love to hear them!
