Done and dusted

Took me a while to get to sleep last night after seeing the initial news reports from the attack on London Bridge and Borough Market - awful to wake up this morning and hear that there had been so many casualties and fatalities.  Felt rather loved as the day wore on and various people (friends from abroad, and family) checked in to make sure Tim and I were safe.  Just so sorry for the families and friends of those who are not.

Tim and I spent pretty much the whole day giving our whole flat a good deep clean after our months of DIY.  I also re-filled and re-organised our bathroom cupboards, which was very satisfying.  So nice to finally have everything back in there - and not to have to do any more DIY!

We stopped around 4pm, had a rest and a shower, and then went out for dinner in Blackheath, to celebrate finally finishing all the work on the bathroom.  At long last!
