Attingham Park

Slowly catching up with blips ;-)

Friday - the 8th day of my holiday - and both my friend and I felt rather worn out.  So we had a leisurely drive over to Shrewsbury to visit Attingham Park.  I have been there many times but there is always something new to discover - and the picture gallery alone is enough to justify a visit (see extra).

The glass roof leaked from the start and the final cure, implemented by the National Trust a year or so back, was a second roof over the top, which you can't see from the picture gallery itself.  Neat job.
