Scald Law Panorama

We headed up Scald Law first thing. The boys snuck several nerf guns into their rucksacks and so I was followed up the hill by two gunmen. They enjoyed playing guns up til the steep bit, then I had to invent counting games to get D to the top. Once st the trig point D was keen to run all the way down. He and C set off at a tremendous pace leaving me far behind. I was amused because the reason I started running 3 years ago was because I have 2 boys and didn't want to get left out as they got older and fitter. I had visions of being mum at home while they went out to do exciting things. And even tho I run, they were still down the bottom way before me - tho in my defender I did end up with surplus weapons that were causing rucksacks to hurt!

While A did Day 2 of the LAMM I did the washing mountain marathon - 5 wash loads done. Then our pals came round for a BBQ. Lots of giddiness and silliness, and nice bottle of prosecco to share with Gillian who was 3rd lady in the race I didn't do today, but who fell and has bruised her ribs so badly that it hurt to breathe. A got home to a big cheer as he came 5th in the B category.
