Earlier today I popped in to see Rob, Chief Exec of CHESS, the charity for homeless services here in Chelmsford. And the good news is the charity of CHESS is no longer homeless itself, it has a roof, a new roof, over it's head! We've purchased the old Red Cross building to provide us with 9 more bed spaces, bathroom, kitchen and living space for clients and, crucially, rooms for support, healthcare and counselling. So this is great news for us and for many who need a little bit of help to get back on their feet. Here's Rob, with a view of the new roof.
