Crypt - St Martin-in-the-Fields

There is a cafe in the crypt in St Martin-in-the-Fields. There are also a lot of memorial stones with, presumably, remains underneath. A strange combination!  The light is beautiful as you can see.

I wanted to go to this church as my Bloomfield ancestors (Charles and Matilda Carr) were married here in 1855.  There was a concert underway but we were allowed to dive in between acts. It was quite a bizarre situation - quiet music, a silent audience and then, Abby totally got the giggles. She was trying to suppress it but I was sure she was going to explode!  We got out before that happened. The concert ended 5 mins later and I was able to get in a get photos so I was pleased about that.
