Charity begins at home 156/365

It's that time of year again... the annual Ashcombe Village Club charity cheques presentation: £10,000 this year to charities and local good causes. That makes over £56,000 in the last 5 years, from a club with under 130 members and just 70 villagers. I don't think there is anywhere in Britain raising so much from so little. Happy to have been the chairman, now starting my seventh year in the position.
