I don't think....

there can be any hungry tuis, blackbirds or waxeyes anywhere in the vicinity.  There are some very fat or should I say well fed looking birds around. They have been having a wonderful time stripping the strawberry trees of the fruit.  Spent fruit now litters the ground.  We certainly won't need to be putting extra food out for them for a little while
