Ola Lisbon

We were all packed up and ready to descend on breakfast on the beautiful patio at the Herdade. What was lovely when we opened the door was that Zhoura that walked with us yesterday found us again (extra) and had lovely doggy cuddles before breakfast.

We left the beautiful ranch and headed up the highway to Lisbon. Crappy sat nav would let us put in Lisbon airport so we left it at Lisbon which resulted in us not going over the Vasco de Gama and then right at the airport but coming in from the Almada side and over the 25th April Bridge (golden gate), which meant a drive round the by pass of Lisbon which meant us very tight for time to get the car back for 11am. We actually were only 8 mins late but for me it was a bit stressful.

Car dropped off and metro into the station nearest our flat in Alfama. Margarida met us at 1pm showed us round the lovely flat with a view on to the river and then we went to a new Cafe just down the hill where we had home made quiche and salad. And a fab coffee!

It was fab being back in this amazing city and we spent the rest of the day wandering and reuniting with our favourite places.
