Rain and wind

Looking out of the window this morning, the wind was blowing, the plants buffeted and the colour drained from the scene. The poppies have survived but other plans will be in need of support.

We gardeners have been hoping for rain so we must not complain but for those on holiday, what a contrast from last week.
