The door

Last night the camera club has suggested "doors" as an assignment for next week's meeting. The weather today has been awful, strong wind and heavy rain, so a church interior beckoned and I thought this door might prove suitable.

Technically difficult, solid tripod, several shots, exposures spanned 7 stops, and some cloning to remove wires, pipes and a bright white notice stuck on the door..

The steps and door might look a bit mysterious but they only lead through to a loo.

It occurs to me now that a shadow of an approaching figure might have helped strengthen the image, but I can always go back and experiment.
