Tucking In

I've been watching a frazzled parent Blue Tit catch insects from under leaves and feed them to a single fledgling for a couple of days now, when I noticed yesterday evening that fledgling had been joined by four more and the parent was going frantic trying to feed them all in different places in the bush.......it gave up trying to find insects and was just going backwards and forwards to the fat balls ( ( I couldn't get a shot yesterday as it was too dark).
Today, after the rain stopped and the sun tried to shine, I saw the first fledgling had learned how to feed himself ........well at least it was one less mouth for the exhausted parent to have to worry about.......Blue Tits are such good parents compared to our Golfinches who just bring the young ones to the feeder and leave them too it ;-))
