Flaming June?

The rain has rained all day without ceasing, it's so cold we've put the stove on, and last night we had a power cut that lasted several hours. 

I haven't dared venture into the garden - I expect it's a bedraggled soggy mess.

Today's picture was taken under an umbrella, just outside the back door.  Mosses and lichens have made themselves at home in the wall and they seem to be enjoying the damp. 

The brolly was bought specially for no 2 son's wedding (tartan, to go with the kilts), eight years ago today. It rained then, in torrents, without pause.
And it wasn't in Scotland, it was in glorious Devon!
