I believe that's a male wood pigeon on the right doing his best to woo the female on the left who looks fairly unimpressed. We get all sorts of wood pigeon shenanigans in the garden at this time of year, rarely a dull moment.

Quiet day at home of revision (the boys), writing (me) and sleeping (the dogs).
