Fish and Chip Jumper

Today was an Addenbrookes, Clinic 14 day for my husband; the consultant is brilliant, the time keeping is not. We arrived a little early for his 1100 hours appointment; he was not seen, for the first time, by the consultant for over six hours! Everyone else was in the same boat and when we left at 2110 hours, arriving home at 2150 hours, there were still five patients waiting to be seen. The consultant is retiring and will be a hard act for the new person to follow. I wonder if the time keeping will be any better; time will tell.

I completed knitting a hat once we arrived and then started on this jumper, knitting more than half of it. Eventually I stopped knitting and read my book.
