The Reason

Here is the real reason for our road trip, traveling approximately 1000 miles right across South Australia and New South Wales.  We didn't want to say anything ahead of time because it might not have worked out, but luckily it was love at first sight on both sides.

George is not a rescue in the true sense of the word, but he was unwanted by his first owners, who returned him to the breeder.  The breeder was not in a position to keep him either, so we agreed to meet to see how we got on.

After a few tentative moments, we had lots of cuddles, and arranged to collect him first thing this morning for the long drive home.

He has been a dream passenger, and now we are all in a dog friendly motel ready to settle down for the night, before the final leg home tomorrow.
