Keep on walking

I went to see my surgeon this morning. He was pleased with his handiwork and with my efforts. I'll go back in a few weeks and I hope he'll say I can drive.

The nurse took out my staples and gave wound and movement advice. Basically, keep on walking, and resting.

I was encouraged and as it was sunny when I got home, I headed off round this pretty estate once again. I went up to the cricket pitch, along past the Old Asylum building which now has posh flats (extra) and back home.

I love my environment here - and I'm jealous of that pretty honeysuckle.
