Bridge by Water Willie's fountain

After a day of torrential rain we were lucky today to have a lot of sunshine today, although accompanied by a very strong breeze. We went for a long walk in Penicuik Estate to make up for the two missed dog walks yesterday. Flora is a very fastidious little dog as we have discovered and walking in the rain is most definitely not on her agenda. Instead she dashed out only when she really needed to. Today however, she enjoyed herself meeting and greeting old and new friends in the sunshine. This bridge has been restored and is in the style of the Chinese Gates, featured here before and also part of the estate.
