Wind-Proof Hoverfly

Yesterday's deluge has given way to wild winds. Two panels of my garden fence are almost lying flat and several plants are battered and torn. What crazy weather!

I had to hold my Siberian wallflower steady with one hand while a lone Hoverfly landed, its wings looking like glass, staying just long enough for its moment of fame.
