Large gull

This morning a large gull landed on the grass beneath my balcony. At first I thought it was a Herring Gull but after a closer look at the photo, I have now (hopefully correctly) identified it as a lesser black-backed gull.

My head is not in a very good place at the moment. My apologies for that and for my lack of comments.
