inspired by a sink

Not usually inspired by sinks but this one was in our friends' mobile home and was very ingenious. When Moira lifted the lid, I was wondering how she would fill the kettle when up popped the tap. With a twist of the nozzle, cold water turned to hot.

The bathroom, like a Tardis, accommodated toilet, shower and washbasin in a space no bigger than a wardrobe. The dining table, with a few deft movements, turned into a bed base and the fifteen cupboard spaces housed everything they needed for a month on the road.

It was like a doll's house for grown ups. It was lovely to see Ian and Moyra having so much fun.
