Interesting concept.

Popped into the bike shop today and they had this tyre a customer wanted fitting to a Brompton. It's interesting because it's a solid tyre, I thought they'd died a death years ago as the old ones were absolutely rubbish!

I remain to be convinced but I would like to try a bike with them on before I cast judgement. The only thoughts I have are that you can't adjust the way it rides for different rider weights and apparently they don't last as long, which would be a chore on a Brompton as you only get a couple of thousand or so miles from a back tyre anyway because they go round more often. Also, they're £50 each!
